Oh my gosh, you guys. I get so excited when I talk about my health journey. Because I want this amazing feeling life for everyone I meet. I want you to live your best and healthiest life.
Why?
Because I know what it's like to not feel good. Not have enough energy. I know what it feels like to hate what I see when I look in the mirror or while looking at pictures from vacations. And you guys, that's awful. We shouldn't be looking at pictures from vacations and secretly thinking "Oh my gosh. I hate my body. I look so big." Instead we should be looking at those pictures and remembering the awesome times we had with our loved ones.
I still have a little ways more to go with my health goals, but I feel leaps and strides better emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Plus, I'm liking what I'm seeing now.
Throughout my health journey, I've found a few tools that have helped me scale my weight loss journey and achieve my goals. So, I wanted to share them with you in hopes that they'll also help you.
Water is essential for our bodies to function properly. I mean, our bodies are made up of 60% water. INSANE, right? So it's important to make sure you get enough every day. To get my water in, I use my FAVE water bottle!!
The other day I saw a reel on Instagram where a woman was talking about having forgotten her emotional support water bottle and I swear it made me laugh so hard. I bring my water bottle EVERYWHERE with me. EVERYWHERE. It's one of those stainless steel ones that keep your water cold almost all day!
I swear this is my favorite one. Hydraflow is a lot like the Hydraflask but it's a bit cheaper. But honestly, I wouldn't use any other. I love this one so much! I'm actually buying another one here soon so I have two.
I absolutely adore Poppi. I love their drinks so much. Poppi is a popular sparkling prebiotic soda that contains apple cider vinegar and other natural ingredients so there are many benefits to adding this into your health routine, such as: improved digestion, reducing your inflammation, increasing your energy, reducing your sugar cravings, and also improves your skin health.
I used to be a major pop (soda) drinker, but when I started out on my healthy living journey, I gave up on the sugary stuff. So normally I'm just drinking sparkling water or something like Poppi. This book has been a #GAMECHANGER for me and my husband. Who would have thought that you could have your favorite ooey gooey brownie after supper and still see a victory on the scale the next day.
A major thing I learned in this book was that I'm a volume eater, so that means I need to eat more in order to feel full. And in Ilana's book she puts a lot of emphasis on water first and veggies most. This book changed our world.
My FitBit Charge is one of my alltime favorite health and wellness tools. It really increases your awareness about things like how much sleep you get and how many steps your getting throughout the day. You'll be surprised. It's a lot less than you think it'll be.
I've had a FitBit since the beginning of their journey and I absolutely love mine. I currently have the FitBit Charge 3 and I really love being able to track my steps, exercise, and sleep.
You wouldn't believe it, but one night we dropped something on our scale and it shattered. #SADDAY
We were so disappointed because we really liked it, but that night I ordered a FitBit Aria since I've always wanted one. And I love that it hooks up with your FitBit app and calculates your BMI as well.
I honestly wish I could wear these everywhere. Even at work. They are so so so comfy, it's like standing on a cloud. lol... Guess that's how they named the company? Maybe? haha... I want to order another pair in a different color. Because I'm always wearing these.
Have you ever had Zucchini noodles with your spaghetti? OMG! I love them. For one I looove Zucchini! But turn them into noodles and sauté them over the over in olive oil and garlic... Can I say #YUM?! You have to try it if you haven't yet
I used to be REALLY BAD at getting my water in. Like seriously, really bad! And I feel like my water bottle and Liquid IV have been game changers for getting enough water in. Absolutely ADORE the lemon lime flavor. It's perfection.
