The Simple Joy of Letters: A Peek Inside Lantern Light Letters

There’s something special about receiving real mail—something tangible, handwritten (or at least hand-assembled), and filled with intention. In a world where most of what lands in our mailbox is junk or bills, getting a letter can feel like a gift--in a small but meaningful way.
Recently, I received an envelope from Lantern Light Letters, and I’ll admit—I was curious. It arrived on a gloomy day, and the lemon motif paired with the gentle phrase “May these letters be your lantern, bringing warmth and light to your journey” felt like a whisper of encouragement. Which we all need once in a while, right?
I did a collaboration with Lantern Light Letters and couldn't wait to share a little peek at this subscription, so you can check it out.

I wanted to show a little peek into the letters, but I also didn't want to give the story away. You'll have to grab a subscription of the story for that! :)

The concept of this letter subscription is lovely: letters sent through the mail that aim to bring beauty, story, and a bit of mystery to your doorstep.
There's intrigue, a murder mystery, and also a cat who is quite unimpressed. (Who doesn't love a grumpy sassy cat?!! I love them. I have three of my own.) Through these letters, you follow Lydia through diary entries. Will you be able to crack the case? And find out more about the murder? This story is told through 6 letters. (They are mailed twice per month)
The letters and items that are included in the letters have a fun CLUE-esque feel... you remember playing CLUE too, right?

In an age where everything is digital and fast, there’s something sacred about slowing down enough to open an envelope, hold a letter in your hands, and savor a story.
If you’re someone who enjoys quiet, cozy moments with paper, pen, and a little dose of mystery, you might find joy in these letters.
