I’m a frequent user of the word "Uffda" which is Norwegian for "uggggh..." 😂 I grew up in Minnesota and now live in a small town in North Dakota with the wind-swept prairies in my backyard.

I'm an author, video podcaster, and I'm always on the lookout for my next adventure.

I'm really into: ooey gooey chocolate-chip cookies straight from the oven, sweet conversations + yummy tea with family and friends in front of the fireplace, lazy weekends with my husband, and living against the status quo. Very not into toxic environments or people of the same nature.
I started Life Writing Wanderlust A Long Time Ago ....
But, it took me a while to figure out where I wanted to go with it. The idea originated back in 2014, while I was walking on a red-dirt road in South Africa, with the guy who would one day become my husband.
I've always wanted to live the life of my dreams. Go wonderful places and meet even more wonderful people. Especially since I was a small-town Minnesota girl who was bit by the travel bug at a young age, since my parents traveled a lot for my dad's job.

I've always wanted to live my best life. Feeling my best. Being happy and loving who I am.

A few years ago, I set out on a journey to become my best self and throughout that time I'd hopped on and off the fitness/health journey that I desperately wanted to add into my life.

I dreamed of the days that I'd be able to wear that cute dress without feeling self conscience about my body.
